Assign Partner code based on website

I have purchased the multi-site capability in NetSuite.  I assumed with this capability I would be able to determine what customers came from which site, however customer service informed me that this is not the case. This makes it very hard to create campaigns properly, because each of my site have different positioning. Can anyone think of a way to hack around this limitation? Is there a way to use scripting on user creation to assign a partner code or some other field based on what site they came from? Please keep in mind this is not from and external
