How to set Alert for new online sales orders

I would like myself and the warehouse manager to receive an email alert when an new order comes in from are website, simple enough right?

I went in to
home>set preferences>alerts
and had a little trouble completing this...
under record type, I put Order.
under search> I realized i need to create a save search. I did this, checked the public box as so to "Allow Users to Subscribe ".
saved. went back and started my alert again. and my saved search did not show up in the search drop down?


Can anyone make this a little easier?
