Related Item Groups / Categories rankings

in Web Site / E-Commerce

We have been using Related Item Groups / Categories on some of our items and I noticed some peculiar behavior. When I assign an individual related item to an Item that also has a related item group assigned to it, the related item group always shows up last on the website, no matter the ranking in the Item.

For example, I have Item A, Item B, Item C and Item D. Items C and D are in Related Item Group 1. I go edit Item A, assigning under Related Items the following in order: Related Item Group 1 and Item B.

Then I go to the website and see what displays, and it shows Item B, then Items C and D. What is going on? Why aren't they in the order I assigned them on Item A? Thanks for your help!
