Stolen Credit Card - Fraud Prevention Enhancement
Problems with credit card fraud / identity theft are growing and are an increasing cost to online merchants.
One of the tools merchants use to prevent online fraud is to log the IP address of the purchasing customer. This allows the merchant to identify geography (say Nigeria) of purchasing customer - and cross reference against where the item is being shipped, where the credit card is registered, and flag potential fraud.
It also allows the merchant to keep a list of "bad IP Addresses".
Please call Netsuite or email them through the case system to add yourself to this enhancement request. Have Netsuite capture the IP address of customers when they buy online. Very Very easy to do.
