Folks,

As some of you may know from reading previous rants^H^H^H^H^Hpostings in this user group, I'm very concerned about online fraud. In particular, about preventing it! Unfortunately, NetSuite's credit card processing gateway implementations only pass the most basic information to their processing partners. The most notable things that are missing are:

1. Customer IP address
2. Customer shipping address

But there's a whole host of additional things that could be passed, including (but not limited to) product SKUs and quantities of each. A vendor could use SKU information to implement strict/conservative fraud screening for items that are prone to fraud (if you sold iPhones, for instance) and more relaxed ones for the $2 widgets.

Howdy, Stranger!
