Website ignoring me - help!

Hello

Our website has suddenly stopped following guidelines set in Setup>Website>Setup Website.

It's set to only be 900px wide - it's filling the whole screen!

I've tried changing the 900px to 100% and then back again to try and correct the situation but no joy. It seems also to be ignoring some of our css
