Shipping rule defect in new release - still can't customize for multiple websites
When I got the marketing and then release notes about the new release 2009.2 I was happy to see that Netsuite was finally going to natively support being able to customize shipping methods for different websites for us customers that run multiple websites. This seems like pretty basic functionality that was missing for e-commerce based businesses like ours. Well, now that I'm trying to implement these customized methods I'm beating my head on a wall because it still doesn't work!
Here's the problem: We want to do shipping promotions on some websites but not others. The problem is that as of the new release Netsuite will only allow 1 Shipping Item per UPS real-time rate, so there's no way to create 1 ship item with a real-time published rate for site #1 and then on site #2 do a real-time rate that allows discounted shipping, free shipping over a certain $ amount, or even apply a handling charge to orders on site #2.
