301 Redirects - New NetSuite Hosting, Keep Domains
We will be moving our domains from our old hosting company to netsuite. We are keeping the domains but our web page urls will be changing from /webpage.html to /webpage/.We were advised the following 301 redirect method to prevent our search engine ranking from being negatively effected:
Setup the 301 redirects in the web pages of the old hosting company. Keep the old hosting company and its web pages alive alongside netsuite hosted web pages so that the latter could build good search engine ranking of its own. When the ranking of the Netsuite site is good, the old site could be shut down. This solution has the problem of requiring 2 sites at the same time and you won't be able to use the old site url but you will have a good search engine ranking.
