Displaying Info Items and Inventory Items

Hello,
I'm looking for help with a script that will work to display both Information Items and Inventory Items in the same Item/Category template without throwing ugly dynamic tag errors on the Information Items (see example below).

[Error processing dynamic tag getCurrentAttribute('item','displayname') : attribute 'displayname' not found]

Any help in this matter would be extremely appreciated!
