Checkout not accpeting US addresses

I knew something was wrong yesterday!  First you put an item in your basket and register---it takes you back to the item, which is not showing in your basket.  You put it back in your basket and start checking AGAIN, takes you to the address section and even though the country is listed as U.S. only Australia providences show up!  A whole day of orders missed!!! 

We have not had one month that has gone smoothly in the 22 months we have been with NS, not one!  Not one month that being on the NS system hasn't cost us revenue.
