ftp settings for sitemap auto upload

in Web Site / E-Commerce

I have manual uploaded my sitemap and / or used the NS sitemap creation tool before. But I purchased a program that will crawl and make a sitemap and upload it as well as ping the search engines for me and save me a bunch of time. Problem is I need to give it the ftp settings to do so. Isn't this different than a normal website with NS as NS has the hosting files section and so on?

Otherwise would I get the ftp settings from NS or my hosting company?
