Dept. on Item Fulfillment for webstore items - help
We went live with our webstore on July 1. Now, we are looking back at our numbers for July and have a problem.
On all of the item fulfillments on sales orders that came from webstore, the Cost of Goods Sold on the item fulfillment transaction went to whatever department was listed on the item setup (or no department if the item didn’t have a department). This acts differently than Sales Orders that are entered by internal sales reps. When an internal sales rep enter a sales order, whatever department is on the sales order is the department that get the COGS when the item is fulfilled.
