JQuery on my site

It seems that the use of JQuery on our website is taking a long time (18 seconds to load) to load.  Does NetSuite or my site require it?  Why do I have on my site?  What it added by NetSuite or my site developer? Can it be reduced or removed?

ANY direction would be greatly appreciated.
