Why doesn't the Webstore registration form require last name?
Ok, this is a nagging issue that's bothered me for a while. On the webstore registration form/checkout there is no requirement to fill in a last name field.
What's silly is that in the backend it's required. In fact the backend even has a spot for a middle initial.
I can't, for the life of me understand why the webstore doesn't show the same three boxes (first, mi, last) and require a last name. Last name is required for shipping internationally and is helpful in reducing fraud and simply gives us a richer data set.
How have you guys dealt with this?
