Hosted Add to Cart Button Not Working - Using additemtocart.nl

Anyone else run into this issue as of about 2 weeks ago?

Products are added to the cart when an iframe src value is changed from empty.html to something like this:

"/app/site/backend/additemtocart.nl?c=storenum&n=1&buyid="+  intlID +"&qty=1&custcol_ava_sample=Yes"+ maTrxSam + sampBlnk + "&custcol_comments="+ reffId

and then the browser URL is redirected to domain.com/Cart, but no item is added to the cart.

Apparently Netsuite is choking on the item option list/record field querystring "custcol_ava_sample=Yes" , and will only work when I change it to "custcol_ava_sample=1".
