Please VOTE Enhancement 113377: Declare attribute for GetAttribute Tag
This will provide the ability to declare a value in a hosted page that will dynamically update the content without the need to create multiple hosted pages.
This will also open a whole new way to create features such as tell a friend, print page, and many other options. This is a must please vote!
GetAttribute you use when you want information to be pulled for a certain record.
The problem with get attribute is that the id CANNOT be dynamically updated. For example the format is:
<%=getAttribute('recordtype',id,'attribute')%
but the id must be hard coded and tag replacement or java won't work to update this dynamically
