When a customer adds a product to the shopping cart we would like for a message to pop up briefly stating that the product has been added to the cart, then disappear,similar to how new mail notifications work in Outlook.  I’m using app/site/backend/additemtocart.nl to add gift certificates to the cart.  I know I can use the redirect and showcart parameters or have a shopping cart portlet on the webpage, but what I really want is just a quick message that fades out after a couple seconds.  Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
