Do you use the FarApp Magento <-> NS Integration?

edited Apr 16, 2018 2:08PM in Web Site / E-Commerce 5 comments

As with most of the users on this forum, we're a bit tired of NetSuite's ecommerce platform and are considering other alternatives. We already use the eBay to NetSuite integration from FarApp (and can say nothing but positive about him and his company), and noticed that FarApp provides a Magento to NetSuite integration.

There aren't many people on the usergroup who use the integration, so public information & experience about it is a bit sparse. Here is what Steve told me when I asked him for more information about the connector:

From our point-of-view, Magento is ok for orders, fulfillments, and price/qty updates.  Full product posting isn't usually viable, and large numbers of SKUs or high order volume isn't viable (Magento is extrememly slow for integration purposes).  Simple items in Magento don't post any order-posting problems, but Magento can be configured many ways, and they support bundles, options, and other manifestations of items that can present challenges in mapping orders and posting fulfillments, so it's easy to do things in Magento that can cause integration problems, but overall we don't see too many issues.
