Setting up Wordpress Blog on Subdomain

Looking for an easy solution...
Who has an easy proven, working solution for implementing wordpress at blog.yourshop.com
I currently have Wordpress installed in bluehost, and we can redirect to blog.kitchenwaredirect.com.au fine. The trouble is getting the permalinks working correctly. Seems to be a lot of stuffing around and not sure if it is worth my time.
So, at the risk of repeating, does someone have a simple solution to getting wordpress working correctly on a subdomain of our netsuite store?
