Custom order page for matrix items to allow multiple item orders at the same time?

edited Jul 9, 2012 7:06PM in Web Site / E-Commerce 4 comments

Anyone have suggestions as to the feasibility of creating a custom front-end order page for matrix items, whereby all option combos appear in a table form, e.g., option 1 (size) across the top, and option 2 (color) down the left?  the idea would be to allow users to create orders simply by entering the quantity of each size/color combo into the table, and have a script create the actual order lines.

The problem with the current process is, if you are ordering many size/color combos of the same matrix item from the web store, you can only add one combo at a time to the cart, then you have to go back and reselect BOTH options again.

Howdy, Stranger!
