Cookie Blockers render checkout impossible
We've been speaking and working with NetSuite over the last few months about an issue for all NetSuite hosted sites. If a customer is using a cookie blocker (such as Do Not Track +) that customer is unable to proceed to checkout from the shopping cart.
Right now this is a relatively small group of customers that have a plugin. However, the latest version of FireFox has built this in to their browser (although it is turned off by default). The next release of IE (due in October) will include this feature AND turn it on by default. I also read that Chrome will be building this into their next version as well. I suspect a huge increase of customers running into this checkout roadblock in the near future.
