Google Analytics not tracking sales by channel
Because of the Do Not Track features available in many browsers rendering checkout impossible for customers using it (which became a big issue in Oct because IE 10 has this built in and turned on by default).. NetSuite offered us 2 brilliant solutions:
1. Turn off Google Analytics Integration
Big Downside: Turning this off makes tracking sales by channel malfunction. All transactions filter down into Direct. We can no longer rely on this data to make important decisions on where to advertise, etc. As long as this is turned off, we will never be able to recover the data and we will have a large gap in our analytics data that can never be recovered.
