Increased credit card frauds
We have noticed a substantial increase in potential credit card fraud since November '12. The two newest schemes are: 1) Shipping overnight to a freight forwarder. By the time we realize it's fraud, it's out of the country. 2) Purchasing gift certificates with stolen credit cards.
We've upped our manual detection. We've created saved searches that email us each credit card purchased. We can then review the payment. We also review any order over $XX and review any order shipping overnight.
Anyone else dealing with an increase? Suggestions to prevent it? Currently we have Payflow Pro as our gateway (legacy) and the fraud protection is only on test. I am considering switching to Cybersource.
