No Items Found - search results

Can someone please explain why I get "No Items Found" when I search on Manufacturers Part Numbers on my web store. Here is a classic example if I search for 60025715 I get no results yet the number is clearly on the webstore. The MPN is a standard Netsuite field and I do not get any results if I search for data that is in custom fields.

Is there a way to make my website produce results for the information that is on the website. As far as I can see the search is only looking at Item Name, Web Store Description and Detailed Description.
