Reference Checkout 2.03 - custom transaction body fields not showing on sales order

I've been trying to get custom transaction body fields to appear on RC2.03 checkout, then show up on the sales order. I followed the instructions on SuiteAnswers ID:40026 and the custom field values do not appear on the sales order.        I can see the custom transaction body field in the checkout process, and fill it in, and checkout, it is just that the field is not being read.    Granted, the instructions are for RC 2.02, and I'm using RC 2.03.  Also, this is for the single page checkout mode.     Has anyone gotten custom transaction body fields value to show up
