eCommerce Serialized Assembly options.

Looking at possibly using SCA SuiteCommerce Advanced

We sell serialized assembly items. But on my current external site I am able to display them in a very user friendly way I even have some options doubled but with different descriptions.

How does SCA and others site build option lists like this.  Do they pull from items in netsuite or are the product pages customizable?

One crazy request is we then from these 4 front / 6 rear options we make 18 pair items.
