SuiteCommerce Site Builder with Suitelets

Is it possible to run Suitelets within a SuiteCommerce site?

I would like to use Suitelets to allow users to customise company records from a custom interface. The goal is to have this interface accessible from within the SuiteCommerce site so that it can be protected by the login requirement.

What sort of item would I create in the content manager, an "information item"? How then could I define the Suitelets to run on that page?
