Shipping Cost Changing at Review and Submit Order
We recently enabled the Extended Cart in our site builder web store.
We are now receiving communication from repeat customers that the shipping cost is changing when they go to submit the order, or has changed and they notice it after the order has been submitted. The cost has increased and they are understandably not happy about it.
I believe this issue stems from their last order being sent FedEx Ground instead of Home Delivery. We do quarterly updates to flag addresses as residential, based on FedEx shipping reports. For those of you unaware, FedEx charges about $2 per shipment for Ground shipments that have to be re-routed through Home Delivery due to the address being residential. So, these customers' addresses are now correctly set as Residential.
