Will NetSuite deprecate backbone for react?

Since backbone is pretty much no longer used in 2018 will NetSuite switch to something more in use like react.js? Not saying there is something wrong with backbone just that developers like to work with up to date frameworks. React seem to be pretty popular and will likely have more staying power than Angular.
