Exchange rate not accurate enough
Hi,
I have got a very minor problem with the exchange rate conversion.
We work in Sterling, and regularly make payments in Euros, but when we apply the exchange rate, we cannot get it to match the actual bank payment.
An example .....
The Euro payment was 1865.67 euros, and the equivalent sterling payment is 1313.85 pounds. But, the exchange rate only allows 5 decimal places, so if I use 0.70422 it comes out a penny too little, and 0.70423 comes out a penny too much.
This also means that for all payments over £500 we end up with an incorrect amount on the bank rec.
Any ideas on how to make the payment more accurate??
