VAT for charities
Has anyone had any experience of setting up accounting in Netsuite for a UK charity?
The main problem I am having is that I would like to have certain VAT codes posted to one account and others to another, but the tax set up only seems to let me choose one. Is there any way around this?
In our old accounting system certian VAT codes (those that we can claim back all VAT on) were posted to 'VAT Debtor (100% reclaimable)' and those for which we could only claim back a proportion were posted to 'VAT Debtor (partially reclaimable)'. Without this ability our Balance Sheet is incorrect as it shows VAT as reclaimable which may not be.
