VAT 100: Box 7 - Outside the Scope transactions
Hi All,
Before installing the international tax module, we used to have a tax code "O" which we used to represent "Outside the scope of VAT" transactions.
Transactions which are Outside the Scope of UK VAT should not be reported in box 7 of the VAT 100 form.
It would appear from some of the documentation that VAT code "O" is now used for transactions which are International Exports. Is this correct?
There is no longer a code for Outside the scope in the standard set of centrally managed tax codes. I guess I could create a new one but is that what everyone else does? Seems like a big omission to me.
