Help with Multi-Language functionality

Hi,

We are exploring if we can use NetSuite's Multi-Language feature to help drive our web presence in several other non-english countries.

I'm finding it nearly impossible to locate documentation or any best practice advice.

For instance, I need to display an online case form in German.  I have the associated drop down lists translated, but can't find a way to have the case form use the German value instead of the default English value.

I called support and they have no idea of the multi-language functionality (platinum support).

Does anyone have any direct experience with this functionality?  I would very much appreciate a conversation with someone to determine if we are wasting our time or not.
