Exporting to Excel-MTD & YTD Financial Info
I am a new user to Netsuite and am in disbelief there is no monthly (MTD) and Year to date (YTD) profit and loss available in NS without creating separate reports. I also wanted to include Prior Year reporting (MTD/YTD), but obviously this is not possible either. This is a basic report in any application. I was informed by a NS trainer that I need to export to excel and manipulate the data to create the report (we all know how dangerous this can be).
When exporting Profit and Loss information to excel, conceptually there are more accounts on the YTD report than on the monthly report (if an account was used in a prior period but not in the current month). Therefore, the accounts don't line up nicely and we have to cut and paste and manipulate the data. Is there a solution in NS to this that I am missing?
