Comparative income report

Hi there,

I can't seem to get this report to show me the data we want to see. When I run the report, we see this period compared to last years totals. I can not get this to change!

I'd like it to show me this year, month by month comparison. I've tried several different filters and customizations without any luck.

Is there something I'm missing?? i"m sure it is obvious, but i'm being blind. I tried customizing the income statement report to give me that information, but got all zero's for every month in this year!! I am the admin, so it shouldn't be a permissions thing.
