Image resizing is broken!

Have just edited a couple of items (no change to image source). I open the item, edit the item by changing item template.....the image explodes to FULL size.

I have tried changing back to original template but does not restore the original size saved by NS set by the "image resizing" options.

Anyone else seeing this defect tonight?
