Can this schedule be created?

Hello,

I am wondering if a billing schedule could be built that fits the following scenario:

An order can have anywhere between 1 and 36 (call that qty x) of an item on it.  All I want to be able to do is bill 1/x of that line monthly until the order is paid.  Also, the price of the line item is not always the same.

Is that possible?  I don't want to have to create a billing schedule for each value of x, which is the only thing I can come up with for now.
