Auto numbering in 2007.0

Just done my first invoice in 2007.0 and the automatic numbering has jumped from INV5245 to INV10000285476

(I hadn't been into the autonumbering screen since the upgrade)

Has anyone else had this problem? 

How can I turn the clock back to a number of sensible length?
