Transaction Sales Order Auto-Generated Numbering prefixing 9999999999???
I noticed on our sandbox that the transaction auto-generated numbering shows the number prefixed with several 9's (e.g. currently on our system at 999999991060). Checked production server and it is the same numbering scheme.
So this begs the question: Is this the default implementation for numbering sales order's in NetSuite?
I know I can set up my own numbering scheme but I am a little confused on why this is what it is. For example our current number for the next sales order will be 999999991060. So this would suggest a couple of things:
1. When the order numbers were lower, say 60 where the order number would have been 999999999960 and we got to order number 960, would that not reflect the exact same order number as #60?
