Audit Trail not filtering results properly?
We recently did an end-of-year inventory and submitted our year end inventory numbers to the auditors. During the process of closing out December and 2011, I discovered that our balance sheet end of year number is now off from what we submitted to our auditors (it is nearly $30k less than what we counted and submitted). I am trying to use the Audit Trail feature to figure out why the numbers are now so far off (income statement has not changed so these items were not "sold").
When I go into View Audit Trail, I enter our user names in the Users field, for Transaction Date I select Custom and then enter Jan 1st 2012 through today. In the Account section I highlight Inventory. I do this because I want to see everything that was done between 1/1/12 and today that a) was posted in 2011 and is affecting 2011's numbers, and, b) affected the Inventory account. However, each time I click "Submit" I get the message "No Records To Show."
