Generating RFQs?
Is anyone running a script that allows them to generate an RFQ from an estimate/sales order?
I know distribution companies are the minority for NetSuite, but one major feature we're missing is the ability to generate an RFQ from a list of parts on an estimate. We sell many items that we don't have current pricing on that need to be checked on a per estimate basis, and our old system would generate these requests for us on a form that we could then email or fax to a vendor.
Basically we're looking for something that is the step before a purchase order (like an estimate is to a sales order). NetSuite has told us this isn't possible without scripting and it's not planned, either. Anyone have something like this? Searching has only yielded one partner but they didn't look too reputable.
