making "Dating" Stocking Purchase Orders not available to promise
I have the "available to promise" feature enabled for purchase orders.
Meaning, If i have an item backordered, and none are available. The items-to-order page will tell me to order the item.
If i have an item back ordered, and none are available, but 1 is on order, the items-to-order page will not tell me to order another one, because the 1 on order is promised to the backorder atuomatically.
This normally works perfect for us, however...there is a rare case when we put a "dating purchase order" where we place a large stocking purchase order with a manufacturer, that is not scheduled to ship for a couple months.
