Script for Drop Shipping Components
When companies sell complete products (Item Groups, Assembly Items, Kits), and need to drop ship components, Netsuite has no solution.
Assembly Items - checking Special Work Order will generate a PO with components from a Sales Order with an Assembly Item, however, it is a Special Order PO, not a Drop Ship PO.
Item Groups - this breaks out the components on the SO and the PO, however, Item Groups cannot be put online, does not work with Netsuite's cart, and are not supported by connectors to 3rd party ecommerce solutions like Magento. Getting connectors to supported Item Groups might be a good solution to this problem.
