Linking External Forms

Is there a way to Link an external sales order form to a custom form for orders  entered through the customer center?

We have a customer who uses unique part numbers that populate a custom transaction column when they select the manufacturers part number. However, when they receive the PDF copy of their sales order via email it doesn't show the column with their part number. When customizing an internal form there's a tab called "linked forms" but the options are limited when customizing an external form. I also noticed external forms don't give you a check box to print selected columns.
