How to pull a day's cash-basis GL impact?

All:

  Running into a unique problem; I need to find out for a cash-basis, what the GL impact was for a day's transactions.

  Is there an easy way to pull this information out via search or script?  I need to import this information into another system; I can fairly easily do a transaction search on a day, but that gives me the actual daily transactions as opposed to the Cash Sales/Cash Refunds for the day that hit the Deposit and then invoices and payments that were applied.
