Fixed Assets - Does Lifetimes (alternate lifetime per Location) functionality work?
I'm referring to the "Lifetimes" subtab on an Asset Type setup. I can find nearly no documentation on this feature other than SuiteAnswer 21623 which seems to imply this feature allows you to set an alternate depreciation method and life per location if different than the "base" asset type settings. I set up a lifetime and assigned it to an Asset Type. Following the steps outlined in 21623, I separately created both a GL entry and vendor bill using the "trigger" asset account associated with the Asset Type and assigned Location at the line level.
