Convert Classes to Departments

Hello.

I have a client wanting to use the "Convert Classes to Departments" functionality.  They currently have only one department and it has been used sparingly, if at all, so I think this is a perfect time to use it.

I have a few questions that I can't easily test in a demo account since this function requires first deleting all department data, something that would take quite a while:

1.  I assume (but SuiteAnswers doesn't say it explicitly that I can find) that the associated class data will "convert" over as part of this process.  In other words, say I had a journal or vendor bill containing the class "Accounting" before the process. After the process, it would still show Accounting on the transaction, just as a department, correct?
