Ship Replacement in Advance Function, and "Replacement" SO inflating Sales
Looking to have some insight on the following scenario. The customer I am dealing with is wanting to ship replacement in advance of the item returning, which is definitely possible from the SuiteApp, however the other dilemma they wanting fixed is explained below .
(1)The clients customer places a claim for an item. (2) The Client enters a Sales order for this claim. The client would like the sales to not be inflated by these "sales" due to warranty claims (the old item hasn't returned yet). Standard NetSuite does not distinguish between regular and warranty sales.
Anyone have a solution for this sort of problem? How much customization are we talking here if it is needed - if any at all. Maybe a report build based solution if possible.
