401k Amounts Calculated Incorrectly

edited Jan 8, 2008 6:52PM in SuitePeople US Payroll 1 comment

I was directed by NetSuite support to set up the company's H.S.A. contribution as an earning item.  That worked fine until we started making deductions for the 401k.  Now when the 401k percentages are calculated, the HSA contributions are being included with regular earnings, which is not correct.  The 401K match amounts are also being calculated based on earnings plus the HSA amounts, which is also incorrect.  The result is that I have to manually calculate all deduction and match amounts and edit every paycheck -- which is extremely time consuming.

There must be a workaround to this mess -- hopefully someone from NetSuite will address this.  I have already filed a case - #661709, but as we don't have a support plan, I doubt that there ever be any action on that.

Howdy, Stranger!
