Misleading "Customer" Designation
Recently we've been invoicing a number of external entities that are *not* customers, but merely organizations or individuals who are required to send us money.
Here are two hypothetical examples:
(1) A terminated employee who elected to continue medical coverage under COBRA. He/she remains on our medical plan and therefore, as provided under the law, we invoice he/she monthly for the full amount of the insurance premium.
(2) A trade group with which we have partnered to create some educational films. Our company does all of the production work, they are paying all of the expenses.
